Flower Essences

I was called to start making flower essences last summer.  Since then I have polished my procedure.  Most recent flower essences take the below principles into account.  The last flower essence I made (mexican hat) clearly asked me to offer these essences as “selfless service” as my gift to the plant in return for taking the essence.  Thus I am offering them in trade or barter, or donation basis- no one turned away for lack of funds.  If possible, bringing your own tincture bottle if in person, or paying for postage if long distance, will help defray costs.  Some of these essences were made on Lama mountain with my dear friend Snow.  If you want that individual essence, you can buy it from her, but I will include those essences in mixes when appropriate.

I call in the directions in the way of my pagan tradition to create a sacred space when I make an essence.  I sit with the plant and meditate and write down whatever message the plant offers.  They are all quite different, though the one thing that is always present is the plants’ desire to bring us more fully into love.

I only make an essence when I feel that the plant is “calling me” usually that is when I can link in most clearly to the essence of the plant, and often there is a link between moon phase when the plant is harvested and the nature of the plant.

Essences are made with rain water, river or creek water,  or spring water from lama mountain.
